ABOUT THE CORNISH RANCH TRACK LIVERY
At The Cornish Ranch Track Livery, we are dedicated to providing a species-appropriate diet and environment for horses. Our full livery services ensure that your horse receives the care and attention it deserves. In addition to our livery services, we also offer a selection of premium herbs for sale, carefully chosen to support equine health and well-being.
The Cornish Ranch Track Livery was started in June 2023, the idea came about one evening when myself and my husband John were having a chat about our personal horses. We had always had our horses on grass and bucket feeds but provided them with additional hay in the winter months. We had a track around the outside of our grass paddocks with entrances into each paddock so we could rotate them and let them rest. Leading up to our wedding the horses came off the fields in December 2022 to allow the fields to recover ready for the wedding as we wanted it to look pretty. After the wedding in May 2023 we realised that our horses health had improved drastically over the last 6 months, not just their physical health but there mental heath as well and then we realised it was because they were on a diet of hay only and the outer track, with no access to grass and then our journey began.
We had a chat about opening a track livery (to be honest I was in the bath and John was just sat on the chair next to me) it was just a quick 10 minute chat about wondering if it would be needed/wanted in the area. Anyway 2 weeks passed and we hadn't spoke about it since but then I started getting messages on social media asking if I would ever consider sharing our tracks with other horses. This was when we realised it was our calling, we were being shown the direction that our lives needed to take and I guess the rest is history. Here we are several years down the line with a fully establish track system, partly surfaced supporting horses from all walks in life from laminitis, cushings and EMS to horses that their owners just want better for them and not coped up in a stable with no turnout
